Chris Carr was appointed as Georgia's 54th Attorney General in 2016. He was elected to a full term in 2018 and then re-elected in 2022. Carr, of Dunwoody, previously served as Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Economic Development under Governor Nathan Deal and as Chief of Staff for U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson.
