Head Start and Early Head Start are free education programs for eligible children from birth to age 5.

Georgia’s Pre-K is a free, state-funded program for four-year-olds. You must apply to be considered for a spot in a Georgia Pre-Kindergarten program.

Public schools provide K-12 education at least 180 days a year. School enrollment is based on which school district you live in.

Children with special needs and sensory impairments can enroll in educational programs.

Certain immunizations and screenings are required to enroll in school.
